It all began in a lily pond.

Allow me to explain:

For years I used a point and shoot camera to photograph nature, family, and travel.

One rainy day I brought my point and shoot to an incredible garden location.

It was there that I captured a rather nice image of two white water lilies floating in a lily pond.

When my daughter (a talented artist) saw this image she insisted that it wasn’t ordinary.

For my birthday, she presented me with the lilies’ image on a canvas.

That was an “aha moment” for me.

I saw the light and decided to chase it.

I purchased a DSLR camera.

I joined a photography club.

I began attending classes and workshops.

I take as many photographs as I can.

And the rest is history in the making!
